So yesterday the children and I were driving around looking at apartments when a small animal ran across the road, so we stopped to look at it. There turned out to be several of the small creatures which we decided were Prairie Dogs, Liam thought they looked like small Mere cats, they went in and out of some burrows and stood up on there hind legs.
Later in the carpark of the hotel we saw rabbits and another Paririe dog.

We have about twelve months on contract in Santa Fe, New Mexico this is a record of what we found there. The journey has continued and now we have ventured to Victoria in British Colombia, Canada. We're still going and are back in the USA in Salem Oregon

Priarie dogs are my favourite. I think they are like Merecats too.

We have missed you, so Mum said we could look at some of the things on the blog site. We really liked seeing the praire dogs on the link you put in, we especially liked hearing their call. We want to see the praire dogs like you did too but it is too far away (Caitlin says I want to go there but Mum wouldn't know how to get there !)Sinead says we miss you so much (and Zoe too now she's in America as well !)
